Took Jenn out on the Island Princess for some of the fall run. Chased the bunker pods, couldn't find a slot. Lots of dogs and this 1 over I had using a bunker spoon.- Snapprhead27

Decided to give the south shore a shot. The weather was beyond nice, just wish the fish cooperated a little more. Long story short... lots of little nibbles no big commitments. If I'm using my heavy setup, it's 50lb braid to 50lb mono with an Alberto knot. Ill rip off 5-6' of mono and at the bottom tie a surgeon's knot to slip my sinker on. From the top of the sinker I'll go 4 fingers high and form a bight in my leader material and pass my pre-tied hook through the...- Snapprhead27

I see a lot of people plasti dip their sinkers. Is it more to stop the sinkers from bouncing off the gunnels or like painting like we used to for flounder.- Snapprhead27
