We had a decent fall when we could actually get out. Nice local togging with some trigger fish mixed in.
We are currently finished for the year and are repowering as we speak. New twin 250 Hondas and some other minor additions to the boat for next year.

Last few weeks of fluke was a lot of action with some keepers mixed in. Some trips had upwards of close to 200 fluke caught . Absolute savage bite.

Had some a group who fished the smithpoint bait and tackle fluke contest on 7/12. Moved all over and out together a catch of some nice keeper fluke. Only one was weigh worthy just around 5lbs.

Today we had Ken and his group for a skinny water fluke fishing trip. We were met with a harder than predicted west wind ( what a surprise) and warm water 78 degrees even with incoming tide. Had a few shorts but it was not what we were looking for.

afternoon bite was slowed a bit by the end of the weekend boat traffic in the shallows. Nonetheless , we managed nice spurts of action and stayed out late into the dark and landed some quality keepers for the group.
