Seals are smart. Eventually they equate the sound of an engine with food. Easier to steal a Bass being reeled in than hunting it. It's becoming a real problem and really needs to be addressed. The other problem as they have found out on Cape Cod is they attract the apex predator.
Hurley will light the fire. Problem with the Big East is outside of the top 4, it's hard for these guys to get up for games night in and night out.

Just read a report about how much of a problem gray seals have become. Population has exploded leading some experts to believe that if not controlled they can decimate the inshore fish population.

Very strong commercial presence in VA and MD. They'll kill every last Bass because their fathers, fathers father said they could! We have it here. No pics but in the fall gill netters fish tight to the beach and do some pretty good damage.themselc3s
