Was a decent November and first few days of November. Tons of micro to king rats and a handful of keeper fish. I don’t ever post real time surf reports due to report chasing idiots. That’s what killed Nor’east
Took another trip on the Elizabeth II out of Montauk with Captain Paul Bruno and the awesome Travis on deck . We had a tog boat limit in an hour , kept the smaller fish live and culled out everything under 4 lbs plus a full boat limit of JUMBO c bass plus 7 cod! Just an incredible bite. 3 drops...
Took the run to Fisher’s yesterday and it paid off. Pretty much non stop action on the top of flood , slack and we’ll into the ebb. 1/2 bushel between 2 of us. Easy limit to 5 lbs with innumerable shorts from micro to 15 1/2. 20-30’ away from the fleet.
Saw a good size shark ( hammerhead probably) finning and a TON of squid , both cruising and following up and chewing on belly baits, tons of life. Bite shut off like a switch at 11:00 , incoming tide.
Good trip! We were out for a quick 3 hour , 9-12 trip. 4 keepers to 23 1/2” and a dozen shorts with 3 of them 18 1/2”. Fluke belly strips , glow beads and a blade was the ticket. Close enough to the reef to see the fleet

19 for the Montauk fleet, 68 Shinnecock and east, too far westand the brain dead "yo Vinny is dat youse guys on da horizon" factor gets too much to stomach.
