    Went on my friend 23 Steiger yesterday. The ocean was a bit rough. I had shorts all day. My friend yelled for the net. He had a 24 inch fluke that was over 6 pounds. He had another at 19.5 inches.

    Funny that when I catch a ton of short fluke I say, I say that is great for next year. Same with BSB. Somehow, it never pans out that way.

    You picked a good time to get it running. My son-in-law went fishing a caught 50 fluke on a friends boat. (They didn't say where and I don't ask) 2 keepers. The water was 63 degrees.

    My opinion: YOU SAID: Replacing the archaic, and illogical "State Fishery Management" model and manage fisheries by bodies of water so Western South Shore fisherman share the same regs as Northern NJ fishermen, all fishermen on LIS, no matter where their boat is tied up share the same regs...
