Well this post did not age well.....
I can't remember seeing the NYR this bad in a very very long time.
Let the "Retool" begin.
Breadman is as good as gone.
Will Trochek, Laffy, Mika get traded?
Well I’m glad our capt cancelled. Cold and North wind at 20 gusting 30…no thanks!
Took the decent weekend weather and got her fluids changed, everything removed, power washed and buttoned up. She will need a deep cleaning in the spring.
At the moment, Montauk is still on, but the winds went from "not too bad "earlier this week to "not to good" today. We shall see.
Fuel stabilizer goes in on every fill up, but over the winter I will shut off the fuel inlets and run the motors until they stall out so no gas is in the system. It...
Picked up my son from Maritime last night, and started in that he wants one more shot.

Incoming tide and 40 ft...
Wrenched on the trolling motor on friday night without any luck. The steering motor housing itself was detached from the unit and no amount of creative garage engineering would make it hold up to the demands of the motor. So my neighbor who was helping offered to take his boat because he has a...
I hate having cold hands.
I use simple neoprene rubber gloves. They don't keep my hands warm, but they will keep them dry, and I can cut crabs, de hook fish and re tie with them on.
The other key to keeping hands warm is a hot bite!
