While waiting for Jeopardy to begin the news reported a statement from Alex Trebek announcing he has stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

How sad, I hope he beats it.

Can't say I ever liked the premise of the show, but that has nada to do with how much this sucks for Alex. Pancreatic cancer is pretty much a death sentence, it's just a matter of when. I wish him the best of luck.
