14-foot fish spotted in river, giving hope to vanished giant’s return

I have seen smaller models jumping out of the water right off the beach. Never anything near this size. Even back in the day when they were plentiful this would have been considered a very large one. Good sign.

Nothing scares the crap out of you when one of these "Polaris Missiles" shoots up out of the water right next to you while fishing... I've only seen small "Sidewinders," never a multi-stage ICBM like this monster...

Havent seen a sturgeon in the wild in years, good to hear they're still around over here. One of my favorite fish. Hopefully will be fishing for them on The Columbia River in Oregon/ Washington come September. Would love to release a giant
