Frankly, other than the outer finish, some minor drag changes and the handle knobs, I don't recall there being all that much of a difference. It does come with the single-knob "power handle" option - which really adds nothing to the reel, as its exactly the same length as the double paddle. Also, the beast weights a big more than the Winch - for reasons I cannot fathom (other than the handle, I guess).
Either reel is a far superior reel viz-a-viz the Gen3 series of Revos. They got rid of the chip-prone aluminum main gear as well as re-designing the thumbar freespooling mechanism - both of which shortcomings really hobbled the Gen3 reels.
One other thing - I believe the Revo Beast is available in two gear ratios, 7.3:1 and 5.8:1. The latter would be my choice all day long, twice on Sundays.
