Met up with Frank Sr and Frank jr with a zero plan in place, had bait for all kinds of specie. I was in slow motion the morning was a long week of work and helping the better half get stuff ready for my granddaughters birthday / block party at my daughters yesterday was a long day and night but I can say Frank sr is a machine we sat shooting the breeze till the last guest went home and he insisted helping with the clean up we got everything put away and at 87 he finished his little glass of wine and we all went home bright and early he’s ready to go fishing I was in a fog the morning and barely awake we made our way and found bluefish busting water wanting no part of them we moved on found out later they were bass and blues, got to a wreck we like and sent our lines down. We never left the wreck catching porgies and sea bass, just couldn’t get that keeper sea bass a few close but not quite legal along with our catch was a nice feisty blackfish that inhaled a clam he was released and followed that with a small 15 “ ling and of course the sea robins that were in the mix did mostly catch and release with keeping some of the bigger porgies for Franks workers we will see what happens mid week
