Just two weeks to buy any ammunition in Newyorkistan without having to endure a fee for a background check (and your purchase being recorded although I doubt this state will get that part right.) Next up is probably limits as to the quantity you can buy during a set timeframe. Just keep voting blue folks:rolleyes:

If you are a NYS Pistol Holder your name is AUTOMATICALLY AVAILABLE to anyone who requests FOIL Info from the state
If you DO NOT WANT NYS to share information stating that you are a Pistol Permit Holder fill out this form and submit it
https://troopers.ny.gov/system/files/documents/2021/03/opt-out.pdf you only have to do it once.

1. Bought all my ammo before and during the very early days of the Obama regime. No need to buy since. Besides migratory bird stamp fees, the Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration Act, or the Pittman-Robertson Act, enacts an 11% excise tax on firearms, ammunition and archery equipment. The revenue generated from this tax is distributed to state fish and wildlife agencies each year to support the management and conservation of wildlife populations. Since it was passed by Congress in 1937, the Pittman-Robertson Act has generated more than $12 billion for state conservation initiatives. Probably a hell of a lot more than the tree huggers allegedly give.

2. We submitted those forms to avoid others from getting info as to our holding pistol licenses but I have no idea if the state police actually adhered to that decree. I did see that the serial killer of 'Pequa is listed on the database that I saved from 2010 or so when it was easily downloaded / obtained.
