Picked up a nice 22" fish this AM from a dock while freezing my sorry azz off. What was probably as rewarding as the catching was the realization that my WADS technology was working after the long winter hiatus. WADS, Wake Anomaly Detection System, the ability to discern the subtle change in my popper's wake when there's a fish below it following. Makes me look like a genius when I tell a companion, "Fish following! Give it 2 quick pops!!" and BAM!!! They get hit!!
This will be my last schoolie report. As the fish settle in, I fish just about every day and usually don't get skunked. I will report the odd keeper, and get back to reports in late September when that fish catch might be the last of the season.
Tight lines everyone!!!
