And in keeping with todays tradition....

So my son is at Maritime which is at the base of the Throggs Neck Bridge, and he has been trying to catch his first fish of the new year there. He has been calling me the past few days, picking my brain. With the nice weather we've had the past few days, he has thrown everything at them, and even found some asian shore crabs yesterday but couldn't by a bite.
Not to let this opportunity pass, I have flooded his phone today while he is in class with some truly impressive togs, even a 20 lbs fish that were all caught this morning in the Western Sound. I followed it up a report that quality stripers are following up the short togs with one spitting the fish at boatside.. I also sent him a photo of someone he knows (KOZ) holding up a pair of keepers from who knows when, and he is dressed for todays weather just to make it more believable.
He just called me, saying he has an hour before his next class and is giving a shot.....I don't know when I will let him off the hook, but I can only imagine how mad he will be...LOL!!!!!
