Assault Weapons in NY can be transferred to a spouse or child after the owner dies.

Just read about it. NY Gun laws were recently Amended to include that . I read it on 2 different sites, so it looks good. The Federal DOJ filed briefs in September that are quickly pushing to make assault weapons legal to own in the US , in Every State.

My last one is not registered anyway as I replaced the pistol grip and it never had all the "evil" accessories that are still going to get you a ride in the back seat of a PD: No flash suppressor, no telescoping stock, no bayonet lug (like someone is going to hold up a 711 by bayonet!), no forward hand grip and all my mags are 5s and 10s. Match trigger, free floating barrel, a tack driver. Still have it as even though it is legal, no FFL wants to deal with a transfer. Into bolts and levers more now.

The price of centerfire rifle ammo is slowly killing sport shooting. One of these days I'll just have pistols and 22's and shoot blanks out of my Revolutionary War and Civil War Muskets. Maybe I'll pretend I'm duck hunting and shoot the muskets on the marsh. Smooth Bore. Pistol ammo is still pretty reasonable . Should have loaded up on military surplus ammo back 20 years ago. I remember reading you had Henry Rifles. Did you notice they rusted more quick than other rifles ? I have the Golden Boy Lever Action 22 and it's more prone to rust.

No rust. My basement where most guns reside has always been warmer than the rest of the house and have always had a dehumidifier. Virtually all my ammunition purchased before Obummer. Have actually sold a lot off 8 or 9 years ago. Have more 5,56 and 9 that I will ever shoot.
