The last time they dredged the Nissequogue River it somehow resulted in a shoal that has been slowly building and now it's almost impossible to get through it at low tide. I navigated it yesterday about an hour before low tide and I had a few spots that were just a foot deep.
There is plenty of water to get to in and out fo the river and to the Kings Park dock, it's once you pass there towards the back of the Nissey that you will find low water.
If you plan to launch there, or if you keep your boat there, beware.
