Football never interested me in the least
Basketball either
Have no need or desire to watch any sporting event for more than a quick glimpse , never have
Even live in the arena or stadium after 20 minutes I’ve had enough and I’m headed for my car , forget on tv they only thing I see is as a flip on by the channel.

You're not alone, I couldn't give a flying f*** at a rolling donut about the game. How anyone can sit in front of the TV for an entire day to watch the game and all the associated hype is beyond me. I really want to see that the assistant waterperson for the Niners has a rescue dog that drifted across the Pacific on a piece of drifting dock that was torn away from the coast of Japan during the 2011 earthquake (yes that's not a true story, but indicative of some of the crap they show during the pregame shows).

In my teens, football was king, but then I migrated to hockey which is the only thing I watch now. Even there my interest has waned to the point where I won't turn a hockey game until March when things start to get serious...

The Admiral will be watching a Chick Flick with some friends today, I may or may not join them. Otherwise I'll retire to another TV to surf and figure something else out.

Nope. when the Giants aren't in it, I watch it for the commercials. Still think the IBM ad (or was it Apple?) from decades ago was the best ever. Sportswise, I really just watch Yankees baseball.
