Been a crazy three weeks of work for me so haven’t had much time to get out, had free time today so met Frank Sr and we were getting things ready when some pretty good fog rolled in followed by a good shower, so we sat on the boat having coffee and breakfast waiting things out. After a little while fog lifted but rain continued so we headed out of the harbor decided to try some rocky bottoms that we usually fish in the fall first drop small porgies and tiny sea bass I say tiny because they were hardly over the 5 to 6 inch range rain stopped and shot across the sound to our next rocky bottom there we had a handful of porgies and better sea bass nothing over 14” moved east to another drop and same results, moved off the rocky bottom to a reef and decided to drift it was insane porgies all on the large size easily a two man limit on the porgies today we did not keep any today just catch and release it sure felt good to get out not sure when next trip out is. Photo Frank Sr with a small sea bass. This guy is a fishing machine.

Going to give you a James Joyce award, who in his work Ulysses, which for some god forsaken reason is cited as the best work in English, goes full Irish and has 3-4 pages of prose with absolutely no punctuation.

You're starting to give him a run for his money ;)

Of course, always good to get out and fish...
