Blues, peanuts and just some snappers

Out the creek the last of outgoing and finally got two snappers small enough for bait. First really bad wind knot in years and those two would be it this morning ! Tremendous hit just off a channel pole in less than 6' of water at dead low. I got to test my new net after what seemed like a ten minute fight. Another healthy 25" blue for the wife's lite mayo, Italian bread crumb and Old Bay Seasoning baking recipe. Net is a possible problem as it is twice as heavy as what I had but the rubber net prevented any tangling in putting the fish over on a stringer. Fished the second snapper for a while without a hit and was in the middle of a bluefish blitz on peanuts, which suddenly were thick in the creek and just outside. (Explained why they ignored the snapper.) Boaters netting them with ease for a change as they have been pretty scarce this summer here.
