Had booked tickets as soon as I saw he was running trips out of Mattituck. Today they had a sold out boat as the weather was Stella. Unfortunately we were working off the full moon from the other day so the current was ripping. Using 16-20 oz and the lines were still running down the boat. Needed to adjust a lot to stay on bottom and decrease tangles. The tide slowed down enough for me to try 2-3oz jigs, with no luck. Think the boat ended up with about 20 something keeper Tog along with a mix of porgies and sea bass. I had one keeper Tog that I gave away to one of my friends that joined me today. As the capt called that the trip was ending I think there was 2-3 keepers that came up so he announced that he would stay a little longer. 12 additional keepers in the stern came up in about a 15 minute period. Due to the conditions the Capt did give everyone a $20 off card for another trip.

I'm not really to sure. We were up in Connecticut.
We fished captain Mike yesterday fished off of fishers nothing more than 6oz. Was a little rough on the first drop but we picked. We ended with a four man limit and then some released keepers. Nonstop action
