This is a true 8 and bait rod. The Europeans have the ratings quite different
for the reason of there casting techniques. This is the way they go about things.
If anyone is interested in the topic or have any experience with this rod from
Century. I would like to hear your story.

A blind man can see the drop off in the channel. On the old bridge
there wasn't a fence. If you put 6 hours in a shift of a tide you were
rewarded with a 12 to 15 pound fish or maybe more. It's not a trophy
but definitely something to look forward to. The guys would use heavy
glass rods. They don't make them anymore. They're not around anymore.
You would need an exceptionally good cast. To deal with the conditions
guys would fish 6 and bait. I think at the time some of the rods were
made by Gator. You ruined my fishing pier.
