Fished this cloudy day from 6-8 this morning. Not even a breeze, but boy were the fish hungry.
Caught 14 large mouth to 4 lbs, 1 yellow perch, 1 sunfish and 2 pickerel all on a two inch stick bait. Man this was a fun morning.šŸ˜Ž

Sometimes freshwater fishing is almost as good as saltwater fishing . I'll never forget fishing with my father in Northern Lake George when it was pushing 100 degrees in early June. Was out there baking hot , fished in a cove there and for 3 hours we caught one big Northern Pike after another on little spinners. Every other cast we had a Pike on. That night there was a violent thunderstorm while we slept in tents at Rogers Rock State Campsite , a cool front moved in. Next morning we went back to the same spot, not 1 bite !

All fishing is an adventure. A couple of healthy ones there!
