Fingerling Lake

That's the nickname I gave it. It's actually named Nathaniel Cole Park.
My approach on this small body of water was an all purpose lure.
It'll catch perch, crappy and a variety of other panfish. It's good for
pickerel, small mouth, trout and the obvious. All did I catch were the
small largemouth. Drowning a worm can produce a very good eating
catfish or a dough bait and you can come up with a tough fighting carp.
AKA sucker. As the kid gets more accustomed to the area his approach
starts to change.

Fingerling – refers to a fish that has reached the stage where the fins can
be extended and where scales have started developing throughout the body.
In this stage, the fish is typically about the size of a finger.
