Odd thing: While some regulars in my neck of the woods will talk about the "action" but few keepers, my experience has been the opposite the last few years. I have nine keepers out of less than 30 total fluke off the kayak so far this year. Mind you, I am far from complaining and vastly prefer it this way, likening to deer hunting wherein I might just get to even see a deer maybe once in 8 or 9 days, buy why this ratio? (Bigger ones go for plastic and dressed bucktails? Little ones like dead spearing? Why ?)
