Took the boat out for the first run this season. Left the dock around 1030 for the last of incoming and start of out. Ran to kismet, bars in front of coast guard station and then to the inlet. Water temp was mostly 47-48, casting soft plastics and top water. No bass, one sea robin. Jumped over to the state channel by dicks, 50 degree water, and tried casting at the reeds, nada. Took the bay back to bay shore and found some huge schools of adult bunker north side of the bay, east of the bridge, 51 degree water. Nothing working them. Home by 3. Next run we bring the clam and chum a bit. Gotta give it another week or two and let those Temps warm up.
