Fishing Gifts

Forget the boat. You have enough friends with boats to make it redundant. Besides, right now at the end of a trip while walking off the dock you get to say "Hey Cap, she's running a little rough - please fix that before next weekend rolls around." 8-)

As for fishing gifts - my fam knows better than to buy me tackle, so wifey got me another Grunden's "Weather Watch" light-weight jacket in bright green to match the blue one that's gonna stay home for use around the yard. I like the bright color, because if I fall out of the boat my crew can better aim their thrown 10oz sinkers as I slowly drift away.

This jacket is by far the most comfortable one I've every used during Summer thunderstorms and the like. I highly recommend it.

I did buy myself a Daiwa Procyon LT spinning reel and a few upgrade add-ons for it. And I MIGHT be looking for a new fluke jigging rod to pair it up. Maybe a Palmarius P66-3S, or maybe one of Kilsong's new JS Rods light jiggers. Or maybe a Jigging World Ghost Hunter 150g spinner. I really do like that last choice. We'll see what's what at the upcoming Spring shows.

I have to ask...what does it cost?
