Dang!! I would imagine the same policy is coming to Nassau. Where did you get that document??
Down at the bottom by the FAQ, it looks like there is a question regarding already having a boat in the water and can it be accessed or used. I can't read the answer. Is it possible to repost a clearer picture??
A friend sent it to me who has a boat in a marina. He just purchased a 23 foot Steiger Craft. I told him I help detail the hull before the dunked it. But with all the marina's closed.....
Thanks for posting that. It looks like the Town of Islip and Suffolk County is taking this seriously. I have heard nothing about Nassau County. I am not sure if the Governor's directive specifically called out marinas or it that is just the Town's interpretation.
Anyway, my boat is in the water at a slip in a private marina. There are only a few boats in but that is normal for this time of year. I will go out until someone stops me. If I am out alone, what is the difference between that and someone going for a walk? They are encouraging golf, so boating, especially alone or with close family is no different.
