Fluke and Bass Surprise

I can't resist this fluke bite, only this trip had me in a conundrum. I was catching fluke and had two keepers in the box when I heard that familiar "slurp" and soon after the birds arrived. There were huge striped bass around the boat. I threw out a Savage sand eel and instantly hook up and landed a few all over 36 inches. I decided to work on my limit, but it never happened. I caught numerous fish that were just shy but never got that last one!

I'll be back tomorrow.
