Fluke?

Fished from 800 am to 230pm for 1 18.5 fluke and only a few robins I went from Quogue to e/o of the inlet hitting all the drops, channels and flats, there was nothing going on. The water looked brown, probably from the recent storm. All the reports had the fluke fishing in Shinecock red hot. Hmn??

HMMMM.
Yes, with the storm and wind since Friday, I'm sure the water is churned up and ocean been rocking and rollin' and needs a day or 2 and a few tide cycles to clear out
Where are these "red hot" reports coming from? Tackle shops? PB's?
I'm here and based in shinnecock and have not seen anything near red hot on the fluke front....
