Met up with frank and nephew will about 6.30 I said do you still wanna try and without hesitation they said let’s go got to the end of the canal and wind straight out of the west blowing steady whitecaps turned into them and made our way across the bay got into the state channel and headed to our area that has been producing set the rods and 15 minutes in we have a screamer after the battle of wind and boat wanting to do 360 what we thought was a good bass was a 10lb gator bluefish we released him unharmed and reset the poles wasn’t long we had another fish on very small 20” bass sent free to grow up boated two more small fish before we had another screamer gator blue 8.8 lb released to rip more rigs apart for someone, wind was blowing so hard could only troll into the wind the boat would move to fast going with the wind and couldn’t get the speed we wanted so we ended the trip early 3 short bass two gator bluefish for a morning I didn’t expect anything I’ll take it over a day at work will try again Friday. I have to say a big thank you to party boat captree princess who was coming up on us full speed and he slowed down to pass us as we were fighting one of the gator blue’s there were two of the captree fleet boats trying for fluke
