Did a party boat trip on the FishOn 2 with my buddy Capt Steve at the wheel .Did the afternoon trip(cause of the outgoing tide)and it payed off I ended up with a 24 in pool winner and a 21in keeper to back it up plus a hand full of shorts the sea robins are almost nonexistent there was a hand full of other keepers on board one client finished the trip with 14 shorts so there is plenty of fluke around and it will only get better.

Hi flounderjoe, which day did you head out? Looks like your post was today in the am but you mentioned you fished the afternoon trip, just curious. I was out today (Sunday) and the NOAA report of N wind at 10 knts was just a tad off. Wind was cranking all day long and we had a tough day putting any catch together. Brought home dinner but have to say I was disappointed with the quality and quantity of fluke.

I went out sat afternoon yes they hit the forcast rite on the head today sunday 10knts north inbetween the 20 to 30 knt gusts talked to the skipper this evening it was a real tough day for them today with the north wind and dirty water from it .He said he is taking a few days off to get in on a good tuna bite about 40 miles offshore all bluefins and plenty of them.
