I was supposed to launch Thursday, but I m so backed up with this covid debacle, i still have to do just about everything! I might pay to have the boat yard paint her, it hurts but if i m not in by opening dsy stripers, ill go bananas... its bad enough not getting a jump on the flounder?

With virtually no flounder in my area for nearly 20 years, and bay stripers being virtually all shorts, I usually wait for the fluke season now before I uncover my little bay boat, and the last few years have been kayak fishing before I even wet the Sea Pro. This year I am concerned that they could close the parks and I would be shit out of luck even with the environmentally conscious kayak. I winterized as usual and since I trailer the boat it takes one full day to get it ready. Here's hoping.

IMHO I would extend that to 30 years, but then again I may have just sucked back then in the Seaford area.

With my first boat that I had from 1978 to 1986 I was killing the flounder. sold it when son #2 was a baby and did freshwater until 1996 when I got back to saltwater fishing again. By 2000 I totally stopped fishing for flounder and since then don't bother with the boat until May and maybe waste some spring days surfcasting instead.
