Going to Tampa - What to bring and use

Going to Tampa at the end of March with some buddies to knock the rust off before the spring. We will be targeting everything that swims, but were specifically looking to get into some big snook, reds and hopefully Tarpon.

Any advice on what kinda lures to bring? I am big surf guy here but I assume things are a little different down there.

You really can’t go wrong with most of the basic stuff that works up here. I’ve fished down there from years off the beach using basic lures and always caught. If you like fishing bait hit a local bait shop and ask for some pointers. You can’t go wrong with pinfish or live shrimp.
