Great South Bay iced over

Drove over the Robert Moses Causeway yesterday and the bay there was iced over/up to a foot of snow on top , . Off Captree /The inlet side it's nearly covered in ice. Drove past the Coast Guard Station and the entrance into the docks there was frozen over . Another week of these Temps and that'll be pretty thick ice. I assume those 47 foot Rescue Boats can Ice break.
