this is Hanne, I know of her over the last few winter seasons from my friends Stanley’s place in South Florida @ golden beach... she’s originally from Brazil, the last of 10 children with farming life...
when I returned here in NYC from the season, I was walking the area of Houston St. just off 6th Avenue...
As I was passing by this mural, I said this person looks familiar... yes it looks just like my friend Hanne from golden beach..
So I sent this picture to Hanne saying this mural looks just like you, she responded saying, “yes truly”... She said please send me the artist name ok, as Hanne is saying, my family in Brazil loves it...
A few days later, I returned to the painting and was surprised to see the artist was Tito Ferrara from São Paulo, Brazil... amazing, not Amazon, amazing...
I gave Hanne a call and said, “this artist may be an old boyfriend of yours, she said why”.?. we’ll ya not gonna believe this, but Tito Ferraro is from São Paulo, Brazil... Hanne was filled with surprise and chuckles, though Hanne is not from São Paulo...
After a quick internet scroll, we found that Tito Ferrara is painting murals throughout NYC sharing the culture of the native Brazilian people and its changing disappearance, including the natural environment...
