This is what we get for the catch and release of bluefish:

Bluefish Trip Limit Increase

• Effective Friday, November 1, 2019, the daily trip limit for bluefish is increased to 10,000 pounds. This trip limit will remain in effect until further notice.

This is the next shoe to drop. As the transfer from a rec fish to a com fish takes hold we are sure to see stricter regs on bluefish sooner than most anglers realize.

I tried hard back in the day the transfer was approved and I predicted exactly what we're seeing - Fewer fish for recreational anglers.
