Insurance Companies

Who do you count on or, Get ripped off by?

If only a small group of us all compared and evaluated our bills together, we would see such irregularities and it would cause a revolution but no one does and that’s what they count on, just like the cable providers and cellular service companies.

I recently called my Insurance Co. ( State Farm) to discuss my yearly payment after taking notice it has once again gone up 300 bucks.
Did not think that was too crazy since material costs have gone up as well but then thought BS… they are taking advantage.

They are taking advantage and cant even explain it properly after offering me a higher dwelling assessment but a lower premium as long as i raise my deductible. That is 101 scam practice.

What choice do I have…. I will see…checking with others and prepared to read through 50 pages of bullshit to get a better deal with respectable coverage.

These companies need to be reeled in.

Yes, technically they classify it as dwelling as mentioned but with their bundle bullshit scam you better understand their description of everything, they know most don’t understand or want to which results in them controlling the policy any way they want.

The industry needs to be reformed

Funny how peeps have issues with capitalism when it comes to insurance companies
Not directed towards anybody in particular just a general statement

No Way… I’m all for anyone making a fair buck but when the government needs to be involved and govern who and how far a bullshit made up service due to laws can reach over the backs of the working class, fuck that.

Look at all the commercials you see on TV. They are either drug or insurance companies…… these are the companies that are raping our society.

Maybe if they were regulated to not spend such funds that are unnecessary and pass those savings to captured, regulated victims of the designed law abiding vampire suck of funds from the people Of mentioned society.

I wonder how many millions they pay these sports personalities to do all these obscene commercials….. you do understand where those funds come from?

Its rediculous.

Out of control

I already took several cars off the road and trying to figure a way to not pay them anymore than I have too.
You should too.

"Only pay for what you need"

That has to be the worst slogan - makes insurance companies sound sketchy.

If there was actual free market capitalism involved instead of the government/crony capital insurance cabal it would probably be pretty good. But that ain't what we got, is it?

I had my two cars on my own policy and Jenn had her truck. Now that we are looking at a house, I spoke to an agent who was recommended to me by my mortgage guy. He ended up putting us all on one policy and got a year policy written (I know most are 6 months I've seen) Saved us some money, just waiting to see what the house will be.

I have had USAA for over 40 years. Car-wise, it was always slightly more expensive than competitors until the "Subscribers Savings Account" started paying me a dividend each December. Customer service is probably unexcelled in the industry. In recent years it has extended applications for "membership" to the enlisted ranks. After my 40th year I started getting "Senior Bonus" payments in January. All told the two payments have more than halved my annual total of vehicle, homeowners and boat insurance. Although for those of you who served but never went to USAA, it would take many years to reap these bennies, USAA does allow members to entitle their children to become members whether they served or not. Consider this my PSA of the day.

My friend got in via his stepfather, he swears by them.
