So my buddy Pj that I hunt with asked me if I can help him launch today. He said does 5 o’clock work I said sure. Why don’t you bring your trolling stuff, you don’t have to ask me twice. East wind was still blowing steady and didn’t expect much trolled east to where we been having fish nothing doing turned went back west, had a solid shot few seconds later rod is screaming handed the rod to PJ what I expected to be a way over sized bass was a Gator blue that chopped three of my rubber Shad’s up a photo and released. Sent the rods back down trolling east toward home was about to pack it in when had a good knockdown 28” fish. Headed to his slip and called it a night.
