Finally made some time to get out. Met frank sr and off we went to where we heard fish were being caught. First few drifts only produced micro sea bass, so we moved on. Second spot pretty much same results, so moved west to a reef and gave that a shot. The tide had slacked off, and on the beginning of the out the weakfish turned on. Mixed in with the Weaks were small fluke, sea bass just missing the legal size and large porgies. We ended up boating six weakfish up to 23”, keeping two in the box things got slow. Looked west and saw a pretty good dark cloud and decided to head home, wasn’t long after seeing some lightning strikes in the distance. Back at the safe cleaned up everything and that’s a wrap, till next time.
