I usually go to Montauk on the first weekend of October every year but skipped last year due to COVID. I went this year but decided to hang out with my GF instead of fish since it was our first time away in a year. I did go to the lighthouse and the fishing seemed very slow. I also headed to Star Island and didn't see to many Striped Bass coming in and was shocked at how many of the 6 pack charters are gone it was really sad.
