A study that "could" result in a microstamping requirement for firearms, believe it would be for pistols only. Since microstamping can easily be circumvented either by manually filing the firing pin or extensive use, hoping the DCJS study renders it moot.
No grandfathering of standard capacity mags.
No body armor for non-LEOs. Since I did not intend to shoot up a nursery school or rob 7-11s, I have no problem with this although my kevlar helmet in the attic could be an issue.
A license for semi auto rifles ( .22LRs included!) similar to the license we have for all pistols. How will this work ? Devil is in the details. I only have three semi-auto rifles left, one a .22LR, but would they be added to a pistol license, separately, fees, renewal period, etc. etc. ?
This really stinks as long guns would be my "go to" for robbing a bank, ya know ?
I love Newyorkistan.
Seriously, does anyone have inside info as to the details and specifics ?
