Completely different conditions this week. Colder, no sun, and no wind. Changed up where I went, so was not sure what to expect. Weed still seems like an issue here. Hopefully another week or so of cold weather. Perch must still be spread out, obviously not in the deep spot where I was fishing. After a bit of nothing I changed up the retrieve and did a more aggressive pop and "free fall" when the line stopped falling and I was able to set on this beauty. Not the size from last week, but a decent fish. Made my day.
