Looked outside just after first light & didn't see much movement in the trees for the first time all week. Hooked up the boat & headed for the Mattituck boat launch. What I found was 15/20 S/W & the sound was solid white water. I'm too old for this water & apparently not smart enough to check windfinder app before leaving home. Bank home with the boat. Windfinder updates at about 6:30 Am & now the conditions looked good for the flood tide at Plum Gut. Lots of fish on the screen, but they were gonna be picky, ended up with one bass in the slot 2 shorts & a husky 37" bass, shorts & the over returned.
