Although I have taken more fluke keepers this year off the yak (backbay) than last, I have caught far fewer weakfish, which I much prefer to catch and eat. Had some success of late now that I can liveline snappers, but am way behind the total catch of the last several years. Yes, I know they are cyclic but they are so easy to catch when they are around, are great eating and put up twice the fight of a fluke. Ah well.
