I must admit, I should know better, but could you clarify what exactly is illegal here? I hate seeing these majestic fish confined in tanks. Are live sea bass legal?

It's time for me to contact my friends at the DEC to get their perspective on this issue. As seafood prices continue to rise, this problem is likely to become more prevalent.
