Anyone catch the opening intros for the game last night? I hope Lias Andersson's face plant isn't an omen for the season. In fairness, he tripped over a camera wire.

The O looked ok last night...still the dump and chase and cycle which isn't so bad when it works. Miss the days of someone actually skating the puck into the zone deep and generating offense from down low.
D will be more of the same from last season with Lindy Ruff coaching them. Trouba had a good start, but Brady better get his head screwed on right. Of course they started Lundqvist last night, and he had his moments, both good and bad. I imagine he will get about half the games, or less...especially if Giorgiev starts well.
Bright spots will be Zibby and Panarin...and we will still be waiting to see if Krieder finally has that power forward season we have been waiting for.
