Frank Sr, Frank P and myself headed out the morning on a nice crisp morning. But once the sun got up it was absolutely beautiful out. We picked away at short blackfish and small sea bass until I locked into a good fish Frank slid the net under a nice fat 17.5 inch fish. Frank sr hooked up to a beauty only to lose him halfway up. I then followed with a slammer 24” 7 lb fish. Frank P joined in and added a 16” fish to box. The tide ended and as the tide started flowing out we started catching fish again. Even with moon tides it was so calm and beautiful we never went above 6 oz of lead. We packed it in around 2 o’clock. The result was 7 keepers and 1 keeper sea bass. We all definitely dropped some nice fish. Frank P had one on his jigging rod that took him for ride after realizing he was hooked, broke him off after a battle. Another great day.
