looks like a 'rich' vs. 'the rest of us' vote. 35" are a bit rare of late in the backbay and casting from the beach. The way its been for me for the last six years is I have come home with more deer than "keeper" bass.

Why are only two options represented? Isn't there an option for 1 fish bigger than 30" with no captain retention with the season going from 5/1 to 11/30.

I wasn't at the meeting but NY had no conservation equivalencies that were verified and therefore no preferred option. These are basically the ASMFC recommendations. Which by the way, have a 50/50 chance of being correct
