First good deal of the New Year - Pelagic Outfitters/Lindenhurst
I've written of this reel several times over the past year. Aluminum body, excellent 5.3:1 gear ratio (better pulling power than the 6:1 ratio that Shimano offer in their similar reels) and very smooth. Basically, its a metal-bodied Ballistic LT (which I own and love), without the annoying Daiwa Magfluid sealing, and/or the ridiculous Shimano micro-module gears. This is a VERY nice reel for $139. Also, its very pretty - a nice bonus.
The ad says that price is good for the 2000/2500/3000 and 4000 sizes.
Apparently they've been running this sale since 12/15, so I don't know how many units they have left of each size, but at this price they certainly will not last. Shoot the lock off your Xmas gift money wallet and grab one of these while they're still available. You can thank me next season.
