went t out last night 5:30 to 9:30 porgy party boat trip fishing was a slow pick I don't think anyone neared a limit from what I saw sea bass outnumbered porgies 3 to 1 all went back all were keeper size with some 4 to 5 lbs boat tried capt even stayed out an additional hour we fished mid sound off oyster bay

In a few more years when there are no fluke to target in the sound, they will open up the sea bass fishery earlier.
