Got out Sunday, NOAA weather said North Shore would be a better bet so launched out of Pt. Jefferson. SW wind with an outgoing tide made for a quick drift by buoy 11 but had no tbl holding bottom with a 1 1/2 oz bucktail. Fished out the tide with some short fluke but no keepers, significantly less Robins than previous trips. At the change of tide we beat feet into the harbor before it got nautical (stiff wind against tide). Conditions were good and managed several more fluke with 1 keeper before calling it a day. Lack of any good fluke fishing seems to be getting easier to take with the knowledge that it seems to suck everywhere on Long island including Montauk. Be safe out there!
